The 25th day of TRUE LITTLE MONK, A Wisdom Training Programme for Novices.

In the week of "LET GO" weekly concept.

In the morning after the first night at Wat Pah Nanachat, the novices began the monastic routine before dawn. Phra Ajahn Kevali let the novices do the sitting meditation in the dark to make them focus on the present moment. After the morning chant, the novices actively cleaned and prepared the dwelling with Phra Ajahn from Wat Pah Nanachat. Then, they took care of their requisites and prepared to go for alms.

After the alms round, the monastic mentors and novices gathered at Thititham Sala for giving bless and having meal.

As today is the eve of the Buddhist Observance Day on the 7th Waxing Moon of the 8th Lunar Month, they will dye the saffron robes in the afternoon. The monastic mentors had the novices wash and dye the saffron robes and how to sew the saffron robe themselves. This will help novices to feel proud of themselves. Moreover, they will be more careful when wearing the robes.  These activity will help them to be proud of their actions and be responsible for their duties.

In the afternoon, the monastic mentors led the novices to the cremation site of Wat Pah Nanachat. The monastic mentors explained how to examine impermanent, unsatisfactoriness, and non-self (anattā) by using wisdom to eliminate suffering before doing evening chanting and practicing mindful meditation at the cremation site.
