The 6th day of TRUE LITTLE MONK, the Wisdom Training Programme for Novices.
The last chapter of being Ascetics.
12 young boys did morning chanting and meditation. Then followed the monks for the morning alms round. They received very warm welcomes from village people, laymen and laywomen. Then they asked for the permission from the preceptors to clean their feet.
In "Picture Story Telling" the preceptor showed them photos he took and told the story of The Buddha. After the afternoon class, 12 boys rehearsed Ordination Chanting (Ugasa style).
In "Dhamma Practice" afternoon class, the 12 young boys learn about how to do Buddhist Lent Candle from Mr. Somkid Sonart, folk philosopher, together with Uncle Andrew Biggs.
After Dhamma Practice class, they joined the preceptors to have refreshments before helped cleaning up the classroom and did evening chanting.
