The Final Day - Leaving Monkhood Ceremony
In their last morning before the novices leave the monkhood, laypeople and the novices' families from Det Udom district waited to offer alms to Phra Ajahn and the novices as usual. After the alms round, the novices assisted the monastic mentor to clean their feet.
Before the meal, the novices recited their Dhamma Talks with the monastic mentors. Before having meal, Luang Ta Anek gave sermons to all novices once again as a reminder before they leave the monkhood. Then the novices ate with Luang Ta Anek, along with other monks at Wat Pah Sai Ngam.
At noon, the Leaving Monkhood Ceremony,
Mrs. Varnnee Chearavanont, the head of the layperson, paid homage to the Triple Gem. Mrs. Varnnee Chearavanont briefly concluded the program to the monks, Phra Ajahn and all honorable guests in the ceremony. Then Mr. Vichaow Rakphongphairoj, Group President of True Corporation Public Company Limited and the vice governor of Ubon Ratchathani rejoiced in merit with the novices.
Phra Ajahn Sunandho from Wat Pah Nanachat kindly introduced the talk before the first novice started the Dhamma talk on "Learn-Live-Love-Let Go" and then the Leaving Monkhood Ceremony began.
